c) Has been an invited faculty for guest lectures, the chief Instructor for Instruction Courses and chaired sessions at various state Ophthalmic societies, the AIOS ( All India Ophthalmological Society) the GSI, (Glaucoma Society of India) , DOS (Delhi Ophthalmological Society) and International levels including the ESCRS(European society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery) and the World Glaucoma Congress.
d) Has presented papers at various national and international forums including the American Academy of Ophthalmology as well as the European Society of Cataract and Refractive surgery since 2004.
e) Was featured in the “Special Focus” section of the March 2009 edition of the “Eurotimes” with an article titled “OCT can accurately predict the onset of glaucoma”. Her article on “RNFL analysis by OCT … onto the next level for glaucoma diagnosis” was published in theJuly2009 edition of the “Ophthalmology Times Europe”.
Has a number of publications in peer reviewed Journals and is an author of glaucoma chapters in various text books.
f) She has been a Free Paper and Instruction Course Evaluator for the All India Ophthalmological Society and the Glaucoma Society of India and is a Reviewer for the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, International Journal of Ophthalmology, Journal of Glaucoma, Journal of Ophthalmic Epidemiology, Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology and Research and is presently on the National Editorial Board as a Glaucoma Subcommittee expert.
g) Conducted the largest glaucoma Prevelance study as Principal Investigator – The Hooghly River Glaucoma Study published in the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology
